CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." Mark 10:14

The faith of a child is a beautiful thing. Jesus rebuked his disciples for stopping the children. He gathered them into his arms, blessed them, and told everyone that the Kingdom of God would be inherited by those with the heart of a child. Our children are precious gifts from God, and we have a responsibility to both teach them about God's love and to learn from them in our turn what it truly means to have the faith and heart of a child.

What is it we want our Children to learn?

1.) That God loved them so much He sent His one and only son.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whosoever
believes in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

2.) The importance of worship and being fruitful contributors.
"Be shepherds of he Church of God, which he bought with his own blood." Acts 20:28

3.) Those Christian principles that will sustain them through the rest of their lives.
"Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn
from it." Proverbs 22:6

Vacation Bible School!

EGYPT: Jospeh's Journey From Prison to Palace

June 14th-18, from 8am-noon, at Heritage Christian Academy

VBS is open to children from 4 yrs. old thru 6th grade. They will be learning the story of Joseph: his father's favor, how he was sold into slavery, the trials of being imprisoned in Egypt, and how he finally won favor with Pharaoh and became reconciled with his brothers. Everything will be Egypt-themed for our VBS. Crafts, snacks, music and games will all bear the stamp of Joseph and his time in Egypt. The story of Joseph is one of intense faith, of knowing that God's love is with us no matter where we are or what we are going through.

Volunteers are loved and appreciated!

Advance registration is required. Please contact the Church office to register your child for VBS.
