Dave Ramsey is Coming

Glenna and I began studying Dave Ramsey's books, The Total Money Makeover and Financial Peace. Simply put, our lives were changed. We believe with all our heart that the Holy Spirit is guiding us as a congregation to take his course for three reasons.

First: All of us will learn ways to be free from the tyranny of money and be set free to live in peace - no longer letting our money control us but us controlling our money. We will learn and put into practice Biblical financial principles which will help us:
*Learn how to manage money rather than it managing us.
*Be able to fund a college degree.
*Buy a home.
*Live debt free.
*Prepare for retirement.
Best of all - be set free to joyfully and generously give to God.
Glenna and I gained HOPE and PEACE in our marriage in regard to our finances; and we wish the same for all of you.

Secondly: Everyone needs help with finances in light of our current economic recession. Therefore we ask you to please invite your friends, classmates, neighbors, co-workers, etc. to come with you.

Thirdly: We believe the Holy Spirit is doing something new and powerful among us. We will eat a meal together while watching the talks and conclude in small groups to encourage each other in our walk with the Lord in regard to finances. It is my prayer
that this time of fellowship together will strengthen and unite us in new ways so that we may reach others with the love of Jesus for the glory of His name.

When: 12 Noon, beginning February 21st for 13 weeks

Where: At Heritage Christian Academy in the school cafeteria.

Cost: $100 per family (includes book Financial Peace, workbook, CDs, etc.

Age(s): Teens on up. [Nursery and childcare provided.]

Meals: Catered with the course (freewell donations accepted to cover cost)

Why: To gain peace and hope concerning finances and to draw closer to Jesus.

Dave's teaching style is humorous, insightful and never condemning. Come be a part of a great time of food, fellowship and a fun way of learning as the school and church work together so that we may all live in financial peace.
